Why did you become a physician?
I can't imagine a more fulfilling or rewarding career than physiatry. I have the privilege of optimizing function and returning patients to the people, pursuits and passions that distinguish life from mere existence.
What best describes the care you provide to your patients?
I strive to partner with the patient and rehabilitation team to provide the best individualized care respecting the patient's specific goals and values.
What motivates you each day?
My mission is to maximize the conscientious pleasures, minimize unnecessary suffering and optimize meaning. Health care is rife with opportunities to fulfill this mission and these principles inform every decision I make.

I'm excited to join an enthusiastic team and work with them to help patients become as healthy as they can as quickly as possible.
