Why did you pursue a career in physical therapy?

I knew I wanted to be involved with pediatrics and care for individuals with neurological complications following my time spent observing a PT at the Gillette Children’s Hospital and gait lab, and my involvement on a service project to Ecuador where I was able to help care for individuals at an orphanage and assist with bracing for children with walking impairments. It was so rewarding to see the joy on their faces as they recognized that they could use their body and move despite their deficits or weaknesses.
