Jill M. Powers, DO, FACP

Dr. Jill Powers is native to Dubuque. She attended medical school at Des Moines University and completed residency in partnership with the University of Iowa at Methodist hospital also in Des Moines. Since 2009, she has been practicing in Dubuque as an internist, specializing in adult medicine. She became active in the community and served as Finley hospital’s only female chief of staff in its 125 year history in 2013-2015. She then achieved fellowship distinction in the American College of Physicians in 2015, a marker of continued scholarship and leadership. In 2018, she was awarded one of the two Laureate of Internal Medicine given in the state of Iowa chapter. This distinction has been awarded to only three physicians in Dubuque, Iowa since its inception in 1987. She enjoys training for triathlons and spending time with her husband and two kids.
